May is Mental Health Awareness Month, where we will bring awareness to the various aspects of mental health.
This month is a great time to reflect on the amazing advances that the neuroscience industry has made in recent years. By discovering more about mental illness, we are not only available to provide more effective treatments, but we also can reduce stigma.
The Brain and Behavior Research Foundation is conducting a #sciencestopsstigma campaign during the month of May to bring awareness to brain research. By educating the public about the biological, genetic and social factors surrounding mental wellness, we are able to understand and empathize more.
